As Jesus Christ is God the Son among the Trinity, God as the Father, the Holy Spirit is also, God the Spirit.
He has a purpose among the Trinity as the Body, Soul And The Spirit of a person. You can’t neglect one, that’s why they are all one.
The Holy Spirit is with His own emotions (feelings) as we have as humans.
As they have their works that they perform, I mean the Trinity, the Holy Spirit has His own role that He plays as the Spirit does in human.
1. He Manifest The Word Of God.
Before the word can manifest in power and authority from God the Father or the Son, it is the Spirit that makes it manifest.
And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
In the time of creation, they worked hand in hand that’s why bible says “let us make”, meaning that they were working together.
If the word comes out of God the Father, which is Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit just makes it come to pass (manifest).
Without the Spirit of God, the word is powerless and without the Word, the Holy Spirit is also workless.
The Holy Spirit always confirms or seals the word that comes unto us.
In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
Bibles says “the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters”, this shows or proves that, in the time of creation, the Holy Spirit was waiting for the word to acts it as it comes from God the Father to make it manifest or to confirm it.
2. To honor the Word.
When the Holy Spirit confirms or seal the word that comes out of God the Father, God is then glorified or honoured.
Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.
3. Reveals or Teaches and Remind Us
But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
In this scripture, bible says the Holy Spirit is a comforter unto us and His work is to teach us and remind us here.
We know that the word of God is encoded to the flesh and it takes those that have decoder Holy Spirit to decode it or reveal it unto us.
1 Corinthians 2:9-10
But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
God gives us understanding of His word through His Spirit.
He also remind us. He told the disciples that if in a point they ask them question that they don’t know, the Holy Spirit will help you to answer that question.
The Holy Spirit also keeps us in the Grace and helps us to connect with the Father till the second coming of Jesus Christ.
And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
Hallelujah, we need the Holy Spirit to get connected to the Father for if one is having the Spirit, the person walks according to the will of God but if you don’t have the Spirit of God, you walk according to the flesh which leads to death.
Pray unto the Lord to grant you the Holy Spirit to help you in this life (journey).
