Be Spirited And Committed.

I explaine spiritedness (Spirited): to be vigor and to face everything in or out of season as a man of God. (Be alive at all time)
2Timothy3:2
Endurance in the grace and doing abundance to win the price. Mark 13:13
Committed also means give yourself wholy.
This also means, give your everything unto Christ, even your substance to worship God, your heart, your body, mind and everything in full unto the Lord.
Beloved as a child of God, a minister of the gospel who is ordained to preach the gospel by the will of our Lord Jesus Christ, stand in, in all seasons as Paul told Timothy 2Timothy3:1-4
Though we are in hard times where people have lost their first love they had for the Lord, but for you, stand in the grace always and allow God to use as a vessel of honor to save others and bring the lost ones into the kingdom.
Even the Bible says “for the love of many shall wax cold”
We have many ministers who are now into covetousness and many kind of evil acts.
Many have also turned from the sound doctrine and the love.
Paul the Apostle decided to go Jerusalem to preach the gospel but Agabus the prophet prophecies about his going.
Acts 21:10-12
[10]And as we tarried there many days, there came down from Judaea a certain prophet, named Agabus.
[11]And when he was come unto us, he took Paul’s girdle, and bound his own hands and feet, and said, Thus saith the Holy Ghost, So shall the Jews at Jerusalem bind the man that owneth this girdle, and shall deliver him into the hands of the Gentiles.
[12]And when we heard these things, both we, and they of that place, besought him not to go up to Jerusalem.
The people were crying for him but though it was a prophecy given from above through Agabus that Paul will be arrested and handed over to the Gentiles.
But beloved, because Paul was Spirited and understood the work he was doing, he still insisted that he will go and preach to them.
They were weeping for him.
But beloved is not written that we will persecuted for the gospel sake, killed for the gospel’s sake and also hated?
Matthew 10:22,24-25,28,32-33
[22]And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.
[24]The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord.
[25]It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household?
[28]And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
[32]Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.
[33]But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.
Paul knowing what Jesus Christ told the disciples and how the Spirit filled him , was ready to preach the gospel even in seasons and out of seasons.
He did not fear to die but ready to die
For this is what Paul told them
Acts 21:13-16
[13]Then Paul answered, What mean ye to weep and to break mine heart? for I am ready not to be bound only, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.
[14]And when he would not be persuaded, we ceased, saying, The will of the Lord be done.
[15]And after those days we took up our carriages, and went up to Jerusalem.
[16]There went with us also certain of the disciples of Caesarea, and brought with them one Mnason of Cyprus, an old disciple, with whom we should lodge.
They made a move towards the great commission.
Are you ready to preach the gospel in season and out of season?
Despite what is present and what is to come, are you ready to preach the gospel with all love for the work of God?
You have to be vibrant and committed to the work of God. Support with all your heart.
Paul once said, who shall separate us from the love of God?
Romans 8:35-39
[35]Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
[36]As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
[37]Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
[38]For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
[39]Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
He mention all these things as challenges that can come on your way as the storms of life, but overcome them with the love your have for God in the ministry or your Christian live..
Never let your wife stop you, never let your husband stop you , never let your parents stop you, never let anybody stop you!
Be committed and Spirited. Stand in and out of season, proclaim the gospel, the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Stand in in the love . Love does not fail, love does not look for his own, do it all for the Lord that others will saved and love believes all things. You have faith and also believe in the word of God.
Jesus Christ asked Pete three times that “Peter, do you love me?”
It was kind of question that grieved Peter’s heart.
Peter before this event went back to fishing when Jesus Christ had died , though He promised them that He will resurrect, but they were offended and couldn’t tarry. They lost faith and hope.
So Jesus Christ handing over His sheep unto asked “Peter do you love me?”
Because being committed to your work, you have to love.
Have love for the sheep and surely love will make you take care of them.
For love and commitment, you don’t care whether you will loose your life or not because you’ve given yourself whole unto Him.
Endure everything for the gospel sake.
1 Corinthians 13:4-8
[4]Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
[5]Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
[6]Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
[7]Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
[8]Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.
God richly bless you in Jesus name.
Never loose hope not stop the good doing.
Always do good and the Lord will surely reward you in Jesus name.
Amen
